Woodcarving a significant tree

Hi.

The Trustees of the charity want to make use of a tree that has to be cut down near the lake in Middleton Park. The tree has now been cut by the council leaving an 8 foot stump.

We are raising money to cover the fees of a fantastic artist who will be carving an eight foot series of carvings on the tree in the Middleton Park.

We are looking for support from everyone in the local community in covering the cost of the work and think it would be well worth spending the money to make a brilliant contribution to what you can see around the lake. Early designs are attached.
