Wonton's Heartworm Treatment
Donation protected
Hi! We're Wonton's foster parents.
In November 2024, Wonton was brought in to the city shelter by a police office in . Wonton has had a tough start to life - dumped at a crowded shelter after being dumped on the streets and her body shows signs of being used for breeding multiple litters.
Wonton also has heartworm disease and needs treatment. She has been positive since arriving at the shelter but it's impossible to know how long she's carried this disease. She is underweight, low energy, and has a cough that makes long walks difficult. We are asking for your help to raise the $650 for her treatment. She will be able to rest in a loving foster home while she recovers from treatment.
Despite a hard beginning, Wonton remains a sweet, silly, loving angel who has never met a stranger! She loves cuddling, other people's food, and flirting with taken men ◡̈ As soon as she is heartworm free, Wonton will be up for adoption and finally find a family to call her own!
Any funds above $650 will be used for Wonton's brother, Wiggles, who is still in the shelter - we are hoping to find him a foster and treatment too! Wiggles' bio: https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/d9435980-6d92-4157-b82a-dc8252991971?tracking=fc6b1aa0-e8b5-4330-9848-bda30e54468e
