We all know how bravely and feircely Katie has been fighting stage 4 cancer for the past 6 1/2 years.
Recently, her doctors have discovered that the cancer is growing again, and with that comes health complications, more chemo and seemingly endless doctor's appointments, all with a price. Between copays, parking, and prescriptions, it's getting harder and harder to keep her family's head above water financially, and the insurance through her new job doesn't cover as much as her previous plan did.
I know that many of us have asked time and time again 'what can I do?' It's really hard for her to ask for help, or even to know what kind of help to ask for, but this is something that would really ease at least one source of stress.
Without having to focus on how to afford her treatment, she can continue to kick cancer's butt like the superhero she has proven time and time again she is.
