We are incredibly proud to share that Sandal Warriors Women’s Rugby Team have officially qualified for the National Women’s Junior Cup National Finals—set to take place at the iconic Twickenham, Allianz Stadium on 24 May 2026. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our players to compete on one of the biggest stages in rugby, and we need your support to help make it happen.

Our Story

Sandal Warriors team started in the 2018/19 season and enjoyed various successes before going quiet.

The Sandal Warriors reboot team and coaching structure were launched in June 2024, from mothers of young club players as well as a core group of players who had developed at Sandal playing for the girls teams, before graduating to open age. The team were promoted from NC3 at the end of their first season, and are now sitting at the top of NC2 with 1 game in hand. And now we have reached the Women’s Junior Cup National Finals.

Sandal Warriors are more than just a rugby team—we are a family. Built on determination, resilience, and passion for the game, our players have worked tirelessly throughout the season to earn their place in the finals. From evening training sessions to hard-fought matches in all conditions, every player has shown incredible commitment to reaching this moment.

Why This Matters

Playing at Twickenham is a dream for any rugby player. For many of our team, this will be their first and possibly only chance to step onto such a historic pitch. We want to ensure that every Warrior can fully experience this achievement without financial barriers holding them back.
