To support diversity in our very own field, fundraising efforts from Women@Capco's Feminsita Film Festival (Aug 26th, 6-7:30PM EST) will go directly towards Black Girls Code! 

Black Girls Code is devoted to educating girls of color in technology, so they can realise all they are capable of in a historically underrepresented field. By providing workshops, after school programs and computer coding lessons, their mission is to prove girls of every color have the skill to become the programmers of tomorrow. 

The organization's ultimate goal is to provide girls from underrepresented communities with the skills to occupy some of the 1.4 million computing job openings expected to be available in the U.S by 2020, and to train 1 million girls by 2040.
