My name is Karen Seva. I am a Musician, Transformational Coach, Healer, Author and Visionary working for the transformation of humanity and the planet.
I am in the process of creating a beautiful album of sacred music that is created and produced by women! This music carries with it the memories of our divine origin - of who we are in our bones - of our destiny beyond this body, beyond time and space. My goal is to bring these songs to life through a container held by women.
For balance to be restored on the earth - we must hear the voices and perspectives of the underrepresented, of the nondominant paradigm, & in particular, the women nation. It has been prophesied that the women will come together and show humanity the way forward. I wanted this project to be produced by women to give space for the artistry of women in these roles that have been conventionally held by men.
We are in changing times. Life as we know it is set on a trajectory toward greater deforestation, pollution, climate overwhelm. Yet, as Thich Nhat Hanh says, "as long as you are alive, everything is possible." I believe that is through the creative genius of each of us - by listening to our own hearts and sharing our gifts - that a new world has the potential to be born. We need to give space for new creation - and especially to hear the dreams and visions of those whose voices have been silenced.
The music on this album came through me - through my own unique perspective, my experiences, the love in my heart, my own frailties, sacrifices and short comings. It is my heart's desire to sing to you! To sing you these songs! To have you hear the music that I hear. In addition, I wanted this process to uplift women. Through this project, I am taking a stand for the artistry and magnificence of my sisters. May we all thrive. So that we can stand together - coequal and have all our voices of creation and possibility be heard.
WHAT IS NEEDED & COST:
I am 1/2 way there. I have the songs recorded and produced. They still need to be mixed and mastered and have some more instrumentation added.
The cost for production, mixing and mastering is roughly: $13,000
Each additional instrument ranges from $100-$1000.
Album artwork: $500
1 Music Video: $3000 (I actually need 3 music videos - so this could be $9000)
Set up in-home studio for future productions: $5000 (my goal here is to get a jump start to make this easier for the future and begin to produce my own material)
Grand TOTAL: $30,000 (for musician friends of mine - you know that this is pretty standard, if not on the cheaper side.)
I need your support ASAP - because the project is in the hands of Ben, who is mixing the project, as we speak.

For those of you who know me, I have spent the past 7 years, singing with children as part of my nonprofit organization, "Sing the World Awake"; supporting other nonprofits; organizing events to spotlight causes and talents within the community; as well as sing back-up for other musicians. I would so LOVE to have a chance to release my own material - and further raise awareness of the importance of having our unique voices and creative spirits be heard. The song you are hearing in the video is "Kadosh" - it is a Hebrew mantra, said to be what the angels sing at the foot of the Lord. This song is paired with an English Psalm. This mantra is said to hold the highest frequency - so only good & Blessings can reach you when you chant it.
The album is comprised of mantras and songs in English, Hebrew & Sanskrit - in Kabbalistic, Sikh, Buddhist & Hopi traditions - with flairs of South American & Gospel influence. The album contains healing frequencies to connect with the Earth, Great Spirit, the Great Mother - with the waters, with healing, with the Tree of Life, with the Sun, the Angels, the Light within & the Truth of this Great Time of Transformation in which we now find ourselves. This album is a journey of healing, connection and remembering...
