Women’s Services for Ilona Whetstone

Our friend, Ilona, was involved in a very serious automobile accident on Sunday, November 18th.  She was with her 14 year old daughter and a friend when she was hit by oncoming traffic and forced into tree.  Ilona and Hunter required emergency services to remove them from their car and they were transported to a local trauma center, in Charlotte.  Hunter’s friend escaped the accident, unharmed.

Thankfully, both Ilona and Hunter are stable.  Despite multiple broken bones, concussions, and facial surgery; they are in recovery.
That said, Ilona’s hospital stay is estimated to take another four weeks with rehabilitation to follow.

Not only is this causing physical stress, the financial burden of missing work, anticipating medical/legal bills, and being without transportation is causing an emotional strain.
