Who we are

Women* for Gaza is a decentralized, women led initiative started in Berlin, Germany by me, Marijana Lemm, together with friends and allies across Europe. It is carried forward by communities everywhere who host their own grassroots fundraisers from Community dinners to clothing swaps. Each gathering not only raises funds but also becomes a space for education, connection, and collective care.

Who we support

Revive Gaza’s Farmland – APN (Arab Group for the Protection of Nature)

APN is a women-led Palestinian organisation that has been working for over two decades to protect land, farmers, and food sovereignty across the Arab region. Through their Revive Gaza’s Farmland campaign, they help farmers in Gaza replant destroyed fields, rebuild water wells, and provide seeds and tools so families can grow food again under siege.

Farming in Gaza is more than survival it is a form of dignity, and hope. By supporting APN, we stand with women, farmers, and families whose lives and futures are rooted in the land.

This fundraiser is humanitarian only. No funds will be used for weapons, military, or armed conflict of any kind.

How the funds will reach Gaza

1. Donations are collected here.

2. We transfer funds to APN bank in Canada or Jordan, who are able to send them directly into Gaza.

3. Every transfer will be documented with transparent proof (receipts, confirmations, or letters) and shared with you as updates

Transparency you can trust

100% of your donation goes directly to APN (Arab Group for the Protection of Nature). Funds are first collected through this GoFundMe into my account, then transferred directly to APN. We do not take a percentage — 0.00%.

We know it can be hard to trust where donations go many of us have seen how NGO aid often reaches people only partially, or not at all. That’s why we took time to carefully choose APN. Unlike many organisations, they have a 15-year track record of consistent, grassroots work in Palestine. We have seen their impact on the ground with our own eyes: farmland restored, wells rebuilt, farmers planting again.

Who leads the work: APN also does not accept foreign government aid, allowing them to remain independent and true to their mission of supporting Palestinian farmers and food sovereignty.

Hands-on oversight: I personally manage each transfer to APN and will share transparent proof receipts, confirmations, and updates so you can see exactly where your donation goes.

Why this matters

In the face of genocide and siege, many of us feel powerless. But together, we are building a network of solidarity that bridges borders. Women for Gaza is about reclaiming agency, about doing something tangible not only sending funds, but also breaking the silence, raising awareness in our circles, and keeping Gaza present in our daily lives.

How you can help

In August 2025, through small gatherings hosted in kitchens, gardens, and community spaces across Europe, we raised €7,145 for the Revive Gaza’s Farmland campaign by the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature.

Together, we’ve witnessed the act of coming together in community and the incredible people power that emerges when we unite, share stories, and empower each other to use our voices. What we can achieve collectively is real.
