My "best friend" and closest companion, Ollie, has torn his ACL, and is in need of surgery.

To better understand my plea, I need to share all my circumstances. I am a 62 year old severely disabled lady who has a muscle weakening disease, Muscular Dystrophy, I live alone, with around the clock caregivers, but mostly I am confined to my old home living as happily as possible with all my limits. I use a ventilator 24/7, and when I'm out of bed I am confined to an electric wheelchair. 

I truly believe God sent Ollie to me, as he was in great need of adoption, and I was in need of companionship; later, I found out he had been in a shelter for a year.

He is now my smart, goofy, loving, emotional and spiritual lifeline! He motivates me to get out and take long walks and socialize with people in my community. A big part of my health regime actually. I am certain he contributes to my mental and physical well-being.
