She was rushed to the hospital with catastrophic, life-threatening injuries, including a punctured femoral artery and severe head trauma. What followed was a grueling two-week battle in the ICU, marked by multiple emergency surgeries and countless blood transfusions. By the grace of her own strength and the skill of her medical team, Jacquelynne is still with us—but the life she knew has been forever altered.

The Challenge Ahead

While the immediate crisis has passed, the secondary struggle is just beginning. Jacquelynne is currently facing:

A 6-Month Recovery: Due to the severity of her injuries, she is unable to return to work for at least half a year.

The Need for Safety: Returning to the site of the attack is not an option. She urgently needs to relocate to a space where she can feel safe again.

Specialized Care: Recovery isn't just physical; it involves intensive trauma programs and ongoing medical treatments that are not fully covered by insurance.

Financial Weight: Without an income, the mounting medical bills and daily living costs have become an overwhelming burden during a time when she should be focused solely on healing.
