Wolfie Emergency Veterinary Care

Hi, my name is Karina, and I am fundraising for Wolfie's emergency veterinary care costs. Wolfie is currently fighting for his life, and the family is devastated. Vet bills are accumulating fast; despite their best efforts, they need our help to pay veterinary bills.

Background: On Friday, Sept 9th, Wolfie spent a fun day with his mom Isabella in Old San Juan. He seemed happy and energetic, but his mom noticed he wasn't interested in food or water. By night, Wolfie became very ill. He had to be hospitalized over the weekend. The initial diagnosis was Parvovirus, even though 1-year-old Wolfie had already received three total doses and is considered fully vaccinated against this deadly disease. He was administered intravenous fluids and antiemetics for the vomiting. By Tuesday, there had been no real progress, and he was transferred to Clinica Veterinaria Juan Ponce de Leon under the supervision of Dr. Victor Collazo where he is now undergoing further evaluation and receiving intravenous medication. Wolfie was further diagnosed with pancreatitis, and a contrast study was performed to look for possible obstructions in his digestive tract. We are currently awaiting to hear if surgery will be needed. After a week in emergency vet care, the bills are adding up, and the family needs your help.
