Help Us Support Two Lifesaving Animal Rescues — With a Lot of Mud Along the Way!

Bright Side Vets turned 10 in December 2024; a whole decade of caring for animals and supporting our local community. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside two incredible rescue organisations: Wonky Pets Rescue and Harley’s Hounds Animal Rescue. These teams are true heroes, dedicating their time and hearts to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming hundreds of animals many with complex needs and heart breaking pasts.

Their work means the world to us, and now it’s our turn to give back in a bigger way.

On 8th June, 15 brave members of the Bright Side Crew are swapping their scrubs for mud-covered trainers and taking on the Summer Wolf Run at Stanford Hall Estate in Leicestershire. This 5K wild run through lakes, streams, woods (and the infamous “Mud Sucker”) is going to push us outside our comfort zones and into the muddiest of challenges, all in the name of raising funds and awareness for these two vital rescue organisations.

We’re doing this because we believe every animal deserves a second chance and because we’ve seen first hand how much love and effort Wonky Pets and Harley’s Hounds pour into every life they touch.

Wonky Pets Rescue specialises in caring for animals with special needs, run entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Harley’s Hounds Animal Rescue is a non-profit that takes in unwanted animals, ensuring they receive medical care, rehabilitation, and a new beginning.

We’d be so grateful for your support. Whether it’s a few pounds or a share of our story, every little helps us reach our goal and gives these animals the brighter future they deserve.
