Wolf Medical Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Taylor. 

I’ve started a gofundme in an effort to help alleviate some of the financial stress for my parents. They both have had back to back medical issues. 

On November 12th, my mom had a stroke. The infarction occurred in her brainstem and affected her fine motor skills, balance, coordination, and ability to perform self-care independently. Her medical team has stressed the importance of the next 6-12 months of her recovery: Her focus needs to be continuing with her therapies so that she can return to her life and work. This is all causing financial strain both with medical and day to day bills. 

My dad’s trouble started about a year ago, with a double pulmonary embolism which prevented him from working. He then needed a full hip replacement which after many delays was completed the week of Thanksgiving. 

With my mom’s recent stroke and trying to concentrate on her own recovery, she is unable to fully take care of my dad without outside help. 

Both parents have ongoing medical needs that have overwhelmingly just begun.
