WOKE: Informed Human Rights Resources Website

 

 

WOKE is a youth led, non profit organization dedicated to providing fact-based information on HUMAN RIGHTS to our audience. Our original goal was to create a source of unbiased media. However, after much consideration we came to understand that there is no such thing as “unbiased” in today’s social and political climate. Personal beliefs of the writer, editor, and even the audience all play a part in the bias that is created. Because of this, WOKE will focus instead on giving the people enough information on HUMAN RIGHTS and SOCIAL JUSTICE causes to form their own personal conclusions.

 

Our creators include: Faith Blackstone, Julia Magel, Raiya Myers, and Kato Nazarian. Currently operating this project are artist, Julia Magel, and artist/activist, Faith Blackstone.
