Wojtek's Road to Recovery

Wojtek Czerlonko, beloved friend and contractor to so many, had a bad accident in late July, and will be in rehab for several months. While working on a deck on a hot day, he blacked out. He fell only about four feet, but fell in such a way that he broke his neck.

Wojtek is a much respected construction fixture in Evanston and well beyond. He has an amazing story of immigrating to America, but remains forever loyal to his Poland and his hometown Gdansk. He created his business from nothing, and has raised five incredible kids here (all of whom speak Polish). He is very religious and appreciates all of our thoughts and prayers, but his medical bills will be devastating, and his loss of income even more so. Our financial assistance will help Wojtek and Anita weather this storm, as he works to get back on his feet.
