Wojtalewicz - House Fire Recovery Fund

Early in the morning on June 20th our dear friends, Dave and Katie Wojtalewicz, along with their triplets, Nick, Jake and Cole were sleeping when they were abruptly awoken by the sounds of their fire alarm and their home engulfed in flames. Luckily, they all escaped to safety along with their family cat, but their beloved Lake Zurich home was severely damaged by the fire and smoke and is uninhabitable. They have lost almost everything and will be displaced. Their home will have to be completely rebuilt due to the fire.


Dave and Katie are valued members of our community and live to serve others. Both are teachers nearby Lake Zurich and have helped to shape the lives of our youth in and around the northwest suburbs.


Their three amazing sons, Nick, Jake and Cole, are active members in our area youth sports programs and also at their school, Sarah Adams Elementary.
