My name's Mike. I have a beautiful Staffordshire Terrier, 5 years old, named Woggy. He's the sweetest, most friendly dog. He's made every day he meets his friends and gives more love than you can imagine! He's my best friend; he's smart and funny and has all the great qualities you would want a dog to have. He's special without a doubt.
Recently, he took a walk by himself, got lost, and ended up being gone for a few days. I put a Facebook post up and thank God he was found. He had a limp and his front paws were swollen, which I assumed was from the few days' walk he went on. It looked like he had some ant bites or something in his paw, which I watched and tended to every day. About 10 days went by and his paw was still swollen, so I took him to the vet and they evaluated him closely. The problem was determined: he has foxtails in his paws that are moving up his veins slowly. They need to open him up and search for these things. He's in discomfort and I'm worried. If they reach further, they could kill him. His operation is $900 and has to be done within days. Anything helps. Please help; anyone who knows this dog personally knows how special he is.
