Wobbles: broken femur from attack

Wobbles has had a horrible start to his 6 week life. He is the sole survivor of an attack where all of his siblings were killed. He was found wounded and alive, surrounded by the bodies of his littermates, rushed to MHAA, and immediately taken to the vet. His constant screams indicated he was in extraordinary pain. After sedation, xrays and exam, it was determined that his femur is broken in half with additional shards broken off as well. 

An amputation of the leg seemed inevitable. Fortunately, a vet was found with the experience and a small enough plate and screws to try and save the leg. Wobbles underwent surgery to repair the leg and is currently in recovery. The fear and pain this vulnerable and sweet little boy has endured is just heartbreaking.
