Wobble is a very sick Pitbull who needs our help!

Hello, my name is Ron Braxton. I’m a member of Pits R’Us Rescue All Breeds And Adoptions in Vacaville, CA. I have been fostering three special needs Pitbull siblings since 2016. They are siblings and all three were born with all four legs deformed on each dog. They were named Weeble, Wobble, and Waddle. They spent their first couple of years being examined, tested, and receiving medical attention along with different types of therapies at UC Davis University in Davis, CA. They have been continuously receiving hydrotherapy, acupuncture, and swimming for most of their lives. They are currently 9 years and 2 months old. They went to their first vet appointment when they were about 10 weeks old. The vet, after examining them, advised us to put them down. We said, thanks, but no thanks, and the rest is history. They have received vet care from California, Oregon, and Nevada over their lifetime. We have traveled many, many miles over the years to make sure they received the best care possible. You can also visit their FB page at The World of Weeble Wobble and Waddle.

In the month of September 2025, we noticed Wobble was not feeling well, not eating much, and had bloody stools. Our vet was not open after hours, so we took him to the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialists Center, which is an ER hospital for dogs and cats. This ER clinic has state-of-the-art medical equipment, numerous medical staff, and doctors working on pets 24/7, 365 days a year. We notified the ER we were en route to their hospital with Wobble. We arrived, and the staff immediately came out to my truck, loaded Wobble on a gurney, and took him into the ER room immediately. Wobble was treated as a stage 3 patient, which is the most serious. Wobble ended up staying at the ER hospital for 4 days. As we all know, ER visits for any animal can rack up bills very quickly for their needed care. Over 4 days of constant treatment, they were possibly suspecting lymphoma cancer. They conducted some bloodwork at their own lab at the hospital and checked a lymph node under his throat, and it came back negative for lymphoma, but they did state the test from another lymph node should be tested and sent to Michigan University for more thorough results. During all of their testing, they realized that Wobble had an unknown type of virus running throughout his body. Wobble continued to run high fevers and had to be put into the oxygen kennel for almost 2 days because he was having difficulty breathing on his own and had fluid in his lungs. Due to this unknown type of virus that is going through his body, he was also bleeding from the inside, and the blood is passing through his stool. Wobble has not held much food down since he was admitted to the hospital. His red blood cells are really low, and his platelets are seriously low. Wobble's protein levels are also low. Wobble is very weak due to this incident occurring. Wobble was listed in very critical condition. After 4 days, the ER vet said he had somewhat stabilized, but he is still in serious condition. We asked if he could come home and see his local vet for a few days until they receive his lymphoma results from Michigan University sometime next week. The ER doctor said Wobble could go home, but he would need 24/7 monitoring, which we are able to do. Wobble was sent home on 9/17/25 with five different medications to take daily, and the virus is still running through his entire body. Wobble still struggles to eat as of 9/19/25, but due to a blood transfusion on 9/17/25, his red blood cells did rise 26%, which is positive. On 9/18/25, his red blood cells did drop to 25%. We are taking this day by day, but a true animal lover knows you never give up, and you try your best to save your beloved K9. These 3 dogs have struggled since the first day they were born. UC Davis indicated there were no surgeries they could perform on these 3 regarding their disability. So, with each pup having 4 deformed legs, they have continued to be very strong, and we will not just give up on them. The current ER bill is $7,992.27. Pits R’ Us Rescue is a small group of people who try to help rescue and find animals a forever home. As we all know, there are not enough shelters and rescues to take care of the unwanted and sick animals in our world. When we took on these 3 special needs pitties, we told Pits R’ Us Rescue we would do our best to pay for their bills ourselves if possible because we knew they would need forever treatments throughout their lives. We continue to foster them today and will until they safely pass over the bridge. We also promised all 3 of them we would do whatever it takes to give them the best life they could ever have, even with their disability. Sometimes, as dog parents, we must reach out to other animal lovers for support and prayers, and this is one of those times. Please donate whatever you can, please share with all of your contacts, and also 24/7 prayers are needed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Weeble, Wobble, and Waddle send their love and thanks to all of our supporters. Please join their FB page, like, and follow. Ask questions if you have them, and we will answer them as soon as we can, but please remember Wobble is our #1 concern right now. Please spay and neuter your pets and love them like a true family member. Ty. Ron Braxton, Weed, CA. ❤️. FYI, in the pictures attached you will the trio together. They were about 7 months in this drawing that was done by a neighbor of mine. From left to right is Weeble, Wobble and Waddle. Wobble is the only boy and the other two W’s are girls ❤️
