Tess' War on Alzheimer's Returns
Two years ago, I asked you to join the fight to cure Alzheimer’s when I launched the first Tess’ War on Alzheimer’s
campaign. Three hundred ninety five people answered the call, and we raised more than $50,000 to fund Alzheimer’s research.
My fight against Alzheimer’s is personal. My father died of this tragic disease, and I know it has touched many of you as well. Thanks to continued scientific discoveries and advances in treatments, we come closer to a cure every day. But with more than five million Americans living with the disease, and that number expected to triple in our lifetimes, the battle is far from over.Join the Fight and Donate
This summer, I am launching the second Tess’ War on Alzheimer’s campaign and inviting all readers, fans of my books, fellow authors, and members of the publishing community to join this fight by donating today!
This year’s campaign runs from June to November, with all proceeds benefiting The Scripps Research Institute
- one of the world’s leading biomedical organizations that is conducting groundbreaking scientific research on Alzheimer’s. Once again, I’m pledging to match $25,000 in donations to encourage participation and in hope of surpassing our previous campaign total of $50,000.Win Special Prizes
By contributing, donors are entered into our campaign raffle, with a chance to win a number of special prizes:
Grand Prize - Name a Character:
Two lucky donors will win an opportunity to name a character in my next Rizzoli & Isles book to be released in 2016.
Four runner-up prize packages

o Signed Hard Cover, “Die Again”
o “Twelve Months of Tess” – Signed book sent to winner every month for a year.Share Your Story
This campaign isn’t just about donating dollars, but is about coming together to learn about and engage on this important medical issue. Behind every Alzheimer’s patient, there’s a story. If someone you love has suffered from Alzheimer's, please share your story on my website's tribute page
Let's celebrate the lives of those we've lost to Alzheimer's. Tweet or Pin a photo of them before their disease, to remember them as they were, and use the hashtag #BeforeAlzheimers to join the conversation.Learn More
