Wo1fie's Legacy: A Community's Farewell

Dear friends,

It is my deepest regret to be the bearer of this news to you. But we have lost one of our own, a light that have shined as bright as they could for so many years. A friend to all and an absolute sweetheart. Many of you probably had the privilege of knowing them in the VRChat community.

Today the community has learned of the passing of Wo1fie (@DJWo1fie). He was surrounded by family and at peace when he went. He brought people together, lifted spirits, and made VRChat feel like home for so many. His presence will be deeply missed, but his impact will never fade.

Wo1fie will forever be a light behind so many of us in this community. He helped lay the groundwork of so much positivity in this world. Our community is an amazing one, but we are far from perfect. We encourage in a lot of circles habit forming behaviors of alcoholism and many of us struggle in our lives as a result. Take care of yourself and those around you, speak up when you see someone struggling and lend your support.

We have decided to collect donations for his family for the purpose of burial and funeral preparations. Any funds not needed or rejected by his family will go to the SAFE project. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. Our hearts are with you in this trying time.
