On Sunday June 7th 2015 our world stopped turning as our Emma was taken in a helicopter to U Mass for swelling of the brain....In just two days that seemed like an eternity we learned through multiple MRI images what her future held and ours.  She was then taken by Life Flight to Boston to begin fighting the inoperable brain tumor.  Emma was 14 years old, she was a Junior Honor Society member and an avid girl scout. Daughter of Jennifer Detonnancourt Adams of North Smithfield and Johnathan Adams of Willimantic Connecticut/ Woonsocket RI. Sister of Evan Adams. Emma has been lifted to another place. #fightingforemma has established a scholarship in memory of Emma. It will be for senior students at Killingly High School CT. Please consider a donation to the scholarship to a senior student who exemplifies Emma qualities. We want to help a young adult/family as they prepare for college....something we wanted so badly for our beautiful Emma.
