2018 marks the 10 year anniversary of the passing of my father, John L. (Jack) Carenza; he would’ve celebrated his 85th year on March 15th.
The Popular Brooklyn Half Marathon takes place on May 19th. I am running the race in my loving fathers’ memory and raising money to donate in his honor for Team for Kids.
Team for Kids benefit New York Road Runners youth programs, which represent a national and international effort to transform the lives of tens of thousands of children, many of whom have no access to the regular physical activity they need to live healthy, productive lives.
