This year, Eli and his boys, Cole (10) and Nolan (9) have cherished their time on the ski hills, enjoying the fresh air and creating lasting memories together. Unfortunately, on Friday, January 10, Eli suffered a severe fall. He was rushed to Regions Hospital, where doctors discovered he had broken several ribs, fractured his sternum, and severely injured eight vertebrae in his back.

Eli underwent surgery to stabilize his spine by fusing his vertebras, but he now faces a long and challenging road to recovery. The combination of medical expenses and being unable to work for the foreseeable future will be an overwhelming burden for him and his family for his recovery.
