Help us save Finn
Our family’s little shih tzu, Finn, is in trouble, and we need your help.
Finn was the runt of his litter, but from the moment he came into our lives he’s been full of heart. He was our son’s and daughter’s first pet, a Christmas gift eight years ago, and he’s been by our side ever since. He’s still very young, and none of us imagined we’d be facing this so soon.
Just three days ago, Finn wasn’t himself. We thought he might have caught a cold because of a little cough he had. But things quickly got worse, so we rushed him to Vets Around the Corner, the vet facility right here in town. The clinic is new but the facility is not and we've had him here for a long time. What we thought was something simple turned into shocking news—Finn is severely anemic and needs x rays followed by appropriate surgery. Even our trusted vet was stunned.
Finn has never been “just a dog” to us. We have never left him behind—not once. On family vacations, we always made sure to find pet-friendly accommodations and activities so Finn could be with us. He has been part of every memory, every milestone, every adventure our family has shared over the past eight years.
The hardest part is that the surgery he will need is more than we can afford right now. Without it, we may have to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go.
We are devastated. Finn isn’t just a pet—he’s our best friend, comfort, and the heart of our family.
We’re asking for help from our friends, family, and community. Any donation—big or small—will go directly toward Finn’s surgery and recovery at Vets Around the Corner. If you aren’t able to donate, we would be so grateful if you could send prayers and share his story so it reaches others who may be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving Finn a chance. Your support means the world to us.
❤️ With gratitude,
Our Family
Chris, Leah, Grayden Jenna and Finn
