I underwent an emergency surgery that removed a borderline cancerous tumor sized 10x6x8 inches from my abdomen area. This tumor was unknown to me before the surgery.  It was causing immensely uncontrollable pain in my abdomen which made moving around difficult, it caused burning chest pains for 2 weeks and vomiting for 2 weeks. That landed me several visits to the clinic and eventually to the emergency room on 11/27/18. I was ambulanced to Memorial Herman that very night for an emergency surgery. This was a major surgery that I could not have predicted. The doctors told me I needed this surgery to save my life. 11/28/18 was the day of the surgery that took several hours. My abdomical incision is about 12 inches long, from the top of my pelvic region all the way up to the area under my chest. I had to saty in the hospital for about a week and i did not completely heal until 7 weeks later. 



I owe 28,000 for memorial Herman and UT Physicians and the ER. This is already financially reduced significantly for my situation but they are forcing me into a 24 month payment plan that will result in monthly payments of 1042 dollars a month. This means that I'd have to be homeless, and i can't afford food or gas. They arent willing to work with me on extending the biling timeline. Memorial Herman charities only applied to the hospital bills not the doctor's bill from UT physicians.
