Ever since we can remember, Debbie has been putting someone else's needs before her own. She is like no other person I have met. Her passion in life is helping others and she will do anything in her power to help someone smile. She has done this by volunteering as a Sunday School teacher, serving as an alderman for Pana, Illinois, and being a second mom for many children in Pana as their daycare provider. The amount of love she has for others is indescribable and putting someone else first has always been her nature.
On Saturday, June 6th, sadly, her life was suddenly changed by an ischemic stroke. For the first time in her life, she will have to start focusing on her needs before taking care of someone else's. She has to learn how to speak, eat, walk, and concentrate on being able to use her left arm and leg again. We thank God for the progress she has already made and are optimistic about this progress continuing. However, these first 6 months are crucial to her recovery. We don't want her to worry about financial issues that this life challenging event has brought upon her and Greg. So, we are asking for the tables to turn and are asking you to put Debbie's needs before your own and donate any amount of money you can spare to help with all of the medical bills, daily bills, and any special medical equipment she might need purchase to help her progress. Our family will be forever thankful for any amount you can donate. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the love, prayers, and support you have already given us.
