Hi my name is Matthew. I am raising money for my daughter Bethany who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. The doctors have told us because of her age, its highly likely to be cancerous. On the 18th of February, our lives were turned upside down when we took Bethany into a&e because she had been sick in the mornings and unsteady on her feet and not her normal self and it had got worse. Just over 24 hours later we were at addenbrookes and Bethany was having an operation to have fluid drained from around her brain caused by the mass. An MRI followed the day after and the following day we were given the news that no parent would ever want to hear. Today 24th February she is having another operation to hopefully remove as much of the tumour as possible. Bethany also has 3 sisters who are only 11, 8 and 4 who miss her terribly. Any extra money that is not used to help support us will be donated to the sick children's Trust and addenbrookes children's neurological department.
