Hardcore for Humanity: Helping Families in Need Across WNC
Since Hurricane Helene struck, Hardcore for Humanity has been dedicated to providing relief and hope to families across Western North Carolina (WNC). Through our commitment to the community, we’ve made a meaningful impact:
Thanksgiving Joy: We helped feed over 200 families, ensuring they had a warm meal to celebrate the holiday.
Christmas Cheer: Our "Adopt a Family for the Holidays" program supported over 300 families, spreading love and joy during the festive season.
Our efforts haven’t gone unnoticed, with features in the Charlotte Observer, WLOS Asheville, and WTVC Channel 9.
But our work isn’t done. This winter, we’re launching our "WNC Winter Relief" effort to support families facing the challenges of snow and freezing temperatures. This weekend, as the cold sets in, many FEMA vouchers will expire, leaving families without shelter.
We’ve encountered heartbreaking stories of families living in tents, cars, and unsafe conditions, many of whom have medical issues. Our goal is to extend hotel stays, secure additional shelter, and provide warmth and safety for as many people as possible. We will also be helping with essential supplies this weekend for those in need.
Every donation helps. Your support goes directly to families in need, ensuring they have a warm and safe place to stay during this harsh winter.
We are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status, but your generosity today can make an immediate difference.
Thank you for helping us bring comfort and hope to families who need it most.
