Tracy was diagnosed a year ago with early onset Alzheimer’s. We now know this has been developing for 15-20 years. After many hours of research, consultations and tests, we discovered that Tracy has toxic levels of mercury and even higher levels of lead in his body. He is working with a functional medical team in El Paso, focused on an individualized approach that tries to uncover the underlying causes for chronic diseases like dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Tracy’s initial MOCA test score (5/30) indicated severe cognitive loss. Thus far, he has completed an IV Chelator to rid his body of heavy metals and has improved his MOCA test score to 13/30 moving him from severe to moderate cognitive loss. The next phase is 10 days of NAD+ IV therapy. He is headed in the right direction, but still has a long road ahead of him.
Tracy was born in Corpus Christi, TX and is a 1979 graduate of W. B. Ray High school. As a senior, he was the quarterback of the “cardiac kids” football team which went all the way to regional playoffs. Tracy received a scholarship to play football at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and was a member of the 1982 Lobo’s 10 – 1 team. More importantly, this is where he met his wife, April. They have been married 40 years and have two sons, Austen and Evan, and three grandchildren. Tracy was also active in the Knights of Columbus through his parish at Our Lady of The Annunciation in Albuquerque.
Tracy and April need our help. Alzheimer’s is a devastating burden for primary caregivers. The cost of the many medications, supplements, doctors appointments and treatments to slow and hopefully reverse the damage are beginning to create a significant hardship on them. Due to a shortage of physicians in New Mexico, it is necessary to travel out of state which increases the financial burden for travel and lodging for treatments. This disease has taken away Tracy’s ability to work, drive, read and write, leaving April solely responsible for Tracy’s care and medical costs along with their ordinary living expenses.
Every donation helps. Every share of this Go Fund Me page helps. Every prayer, positive thought and virtual hug helps. Any assistance you might provide is greatly appreciated.
Long term we are hopeful his treatments will reverse the cognitive decline. If you want to help, please donate and/or share this page with others. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
