Honoring Cheri’s Life and Legacy

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Cheri Jo (Miller) Burdick, who passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family and the comforting spirit she carried throughout her life.

Cheri was a free spirit and a hippie at heart, someone who believed deeply in peace, love, and acceptance. She was born in San Diego, California, and though she spent much of her life in Utah, her soul was forever connected to the beach she adored. Her joy was infectious—she loved to dance, to laugh, and to lift the spirits of those around her.

More than anything, Cheri loved and cared for her family unconditionally. She was proudest of being a mother, and her kindness, wisdom, and strength touched everyone she knew. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, siblings, and the many lives she touched.

Why We’re Asking for Help

During this incredibly difficult time, we’re asking for support from friends, family, and all who knew Cheri. We’re raising funds to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses so that we can honor her life in a way that reflects her love, spirit, and grace.

Your donation will help with:

• Funeral & burial costs
• Memorial service and reception arrangements
• Associated final expenses for the family

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with others who knew and loved Cheri.
