Help Teddy get life saving surgery

Sunday at 320pm one of the things all pet parents dread happened. Our 9 month old Auggie took off while my son was getting dog and cat food out of the garage. She made it to the end of the driveway and as we were heading after her she got hit by a vehicle. We live in the country. It isn't a highway or high speed freeway. It is a country road half mile off blacktop. It appeared they swerved to hit her. We don't know if they actually did but we know they absolutely had to know they hit something. They didn't try and stop didn't even tap the breaks before or after and if anything sped up as we raced down the driveway to get to her. (It isn't their fault our dog was down on our driveway but an appology all the same would have been nice).I called our vet who advised to go straight to KState.
After spending more than 6 hours and over $1000 (I haven't actually seen the bill yet as their payment system was down when we left) with her at kstate I made the decision to bring her home on pain medicine and keep her comfortable while we explore options as it would have been another $400 per night in their icu).
K-State's quote to fix the damage is $12,000. She has several breaks in her pelvis on both sides. She also has 4 breaks in her left leg. The pelvis injury will need to be pinned in at least 1 spot to even give her a chance at recovery. Her leg will need to be plated in at least one spot and pinned in the others. The other option is to amputate the leg and fix just the pelvis. Which is still around $5000. For KState to amputate the leg would be $6000 (I have reached out to several vets who can amputate the leg at a much lower price but so far no one has been willing to even consider taking on the pelvis) but there is no point in amputating if her pelvis is not stabilized to support her. She is stable, has no internal bleeding. She is eating and drinking and wants to fight for her life.
Some backstory... We bought my son an Australian Shepherd for his 10th birthday. He was his best buddy and shortly before he turned 2 he developed idiopathic cluster seizures. I spent thousands on getting a diagnosis and tests ran. There was no cause. So I spent more money every month to keep him medicated and seizure free. Earlier this year he got sick out of the blue and we were advised to put him down. I didn't I chose to give him the chance to fight. He started getting better and was doing great. He went to sleep one night and didn't wake up in the morning. So my son lost his best friend right before his 5th birthday. Back to the Auggie - my son had begged to keep the runt of his 1st litter of corgi puppies. I agreed knowing our time with a dog that has cluster seizures was unknown but probably short and I wanted him to have a dog that would run and play with him. The puppy that got hit is that puppy. I don't want my son to lose his new best friend because of an unfortunate accident and I especially don't want him to blame himself for taking his eyes off her for less than a minute (which he has done numerous times without any issue).
This has hit especially hard as we were there for her birth and planned to spend a nice long life spoiling her.
So if you can find it in your heart to help. We would be eternally grateful.
If we cannot raise the funds and we have to put her down I will return any and all donations.
