Lift up the Livengoods!
Help Lynnhaven United Methodist Church lift up the Livengoods! On Friday 7/16/21, Jeff suffered a massive stroke and was air lifted to the Norfolk Trauma Center where he received emergency neurosurgery and has been in the neurological ICU fighting for his life ever since. The stroke has also sent him into acute renal failure, and he is on track to be a stage 4 kidney patient, potentially on dialysis for the rest of his life. Karin and Brayden need our immediate help.
Jeff’s prognosis for meaningful long-term recovery is unknown. Once out of ICU and hospital proctored rehab, he will enter a skilled nursing facility for at least a year. Based on his current condition, he is likely to be severely deficient on one side of his body and will have long term impacts to his cognitive health, speech and mobility. If he walks again, it will be with assisted devices.
Jeff will not be able to work again.
Jeff was a self-employed business owner. Karin is a service desk manager that just became the sole bread-winner and lone caretaker for Jeff and their 10 year old son, Brayden. The medical bills are piling up quickly. Their family income just took a permanent and drastic hit. Her family at LUMC is setting up this fund to help Karin. She has surrendered her situation to our Father above and trusts that HE will get her through this and has accepted the fact that she cannot move forward successfully and maintain monthly expenses for family living and paying medical bills without help. She requests any help that anyone is willing to offer and will be eternally grateful. Let's join together to help!
