To A Family In Need

Ali plays a big role in our daycare family. She is an amazing infant teacher at Amy's Cozy Corner in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Her mother is currently battling cancer and is incapable of doing things on her own. She has received a walker to try to get herself around the house but is now needing full time assistance due to being very weak. She has fractured her neck trying to get in and out of bed causing more pain. She is in a neck brace for the next 12 weeks due to her condition. Ali is working on dealing with a health insurance change for her but it can't be changed right away because that will leave her with no insurance for some time, which will result in her having no coverage at all for her appointments that are needed. They are currently paying out of pocket for most of her appointments and medications. The hospital they have to go to is four hours away from their home and she is only allowed to travel by ambulance due to the car not being a safe place for her. Along with terminal metastasis cancer, they have found 9 tumors on her brain. She is due to start radiotherapy in a few weeks which will cause more harsh side effects. She is currently living alone and is unable to drive anymore.

Please help us to raise funds that will be used to help cover medical expenses, medications and ambulance transportation back and forth to the hospital. Our goal is to try to get Ali's mom a new bed that will help her be able to move a little more on her own and keep her safe and comfortable. Donations will also be used to help provide for Ali's one-year-old daughter, Marley, while she is out of work, and will help them transport them back and forth from Massachusetts to Puerto Rico to help take care of her mother. Any donation will help so much and will be greatly appreciated!
