Today is Julia’s 34th birthday - and while we wish we were celebrating under brighter circumstances, we’re rallying together to support her through this chapter of her life.

Julia, my older sister, best friend, and dedicated AP History teacher, has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. In order to receive the best possible care, she has made the difficult decision to temporarily step away from her classroom and relocate to MD Anderson in Houston for treatment and surgery. Treatments are weekly and will continue through the end of January, God willing!

This fundraiser is to help Julia cover the surgery and relocation costs that her insurance does not fully cover. Every donation-no matter the size- will go directly toward medical expenses, housing, and the support she needs to focus on healing.

Julia has spent the past 8 years inspiring young leaders and shaping futures. Now it’s our turn to cheer her on as she takes on this challenge.
