Dear Washington Market School Community,


We have very sad news.  Our dear teacher Christine Buono’s husband, Joe Yannantuono, has just passed away.  For years he and his family fought his cancer which advanced to the point of his being in hospice at the end of his life.

Christine and her son JJ have been with Joe constantly, along with extended family and friends. Christine will remain at our school,  her home away from home since she was a high school intern, but without the love of her life and her partner in raising her boy.

We would very much like to support Christine by setting up a fund to which you can donate money to help her and her boy as they adjust to their new life.

Christine is very, very dear to us and our hearts are with her during this trying period of grief.
