This month is my 70th birthday and 40th wedding anniversary, In recognition, I am raising funds for Hospice Care in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico... I serve on the Boards of both Hospice of Michigan and Hospice Care Mitigare.

These organizations provide medical care and comfort to the dying, regardless of diagnosis, and financial ability to pay.

Those of us that see HOSPICE at work, are at once inspired and passionate about the program— the beautiful way our medical staff deliver hospice services, often including wound care and pain relief. With access to Hospice programs -- No one need suffer anymore.

Do you wonder why someone would support HOSPICE care outside their local area? In the United States, end - of - life hospice is available to all from medicare. Not so in Mexico.

In Mexico, adequate end - of life - care, including symptom relief is an underused medical approach resulting in people suffering unnecessarily

We are changing that by providing dignity and compassion to patients and their families who otherwise would endure endless pain and suffering.

This is a humanitarian issue that should have no borders. I consider this Hospice, my most important and meaningful work. I hope you will join me with support.
