WMMS Spartan Mascot

My name is Angela Frisbee. I teach at West McDowell Middle School in Marion, North Carolina. We have been looking at ways to increase student morale and spectator participation in our sporting events. A dedicated student, Jaycie Carter, took the time to research and find a place to order a mascot for our school! She spent a lot of time and put a lot of thought into her passion project, and I think she came up with an awesome idea! We are looking to purchase two of these costumes. We will use one for homegames and the other for away games. Often middle school sports overlap and we have home and away games at the same time. The cost for these costumes is $499.59 each. We attempted to do a Donors Choose fundraiser, however, they do not allow this type of third-party vendor so we were granted permission to create this GoFundme! This student, along with staff, think this is going to be an exciting purchase for our school and we will be able to use these for many years.
