Billy Hartford is a life-long Southie resident who has been courageously, and quietly battling cancer for several months. Billy grew up in the Old Colony Projects, held positions at Massport and the MWRA, and eventually became a small business owner ( Running Emporium) in South Boston. Many hardships came along with Billy's diagnosis, including the loss of his store and several months unemployed while undergoing treatment. Billy has a wonderful wife, Jennifer, and the light of his life, Grace, his baby girl. Please consider supporting this family in a time of great need.
(Update) Sadly, Billy lost his battle over Labor Day Weekend. I want to extend a sincere thanks to all those who have honored Billy and his family with their generous contributions.
