Alicia Doty Recovery Fund

Hi.  We are Alicia Doty's parents and we are raising money for her.  She suffered a freak fire incident on December 16, 2015 at approximately 6:00 PM  She has sustained 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns.  Her face sustained 1st degree burns from the lips to her neck, her torso 2nd degree burns, her left hand 2nd and 3rd degree burns and her right hand 3rd degree burns.  Out of 10 fingers, 7 of her fingertips were burned off.  She was very lucky in that she removed her shirt and jumped into a swimming pool.  The paramedics indicated this could have saved her life because she didn't inhale the flames.  We can't thank Glendale, AZ Station #159 enough, for their quick response and actions:   (Kevin Thompson, Dan Fitzpactrick, Jose Morales, and Red Felt).  (Unfortunately, I do not have the paramedics' names.)  We plan to use the money for her medical bills, rehabilitation, and living expenses.  She will hopefully be discharged from the hospital by this New Year.  We are hopeful she will be able to return to work within 6 months of this horrific accident.  Any donation is greatly appreciated as she is such a great person and does so much for our charity, Advocates for Kids.
