Brandon's Second Chance

Final Update:
Good news everyone!

I've found a job at last. Starting on the 15th I'll be working as an IT Tech in Yellowstone National Park! It's a super exciting opportunity and I'm absolutely looking forward to it.

The less good news - as of right now I'm selling the majority of what I haven't already sold to raise enough money for gas, storage, and my final partial rent payment. I have a long ways to go and a lot could go wrong between now and then. So I'm asking one final time for any generosity from loved ones.

ANYTHING helps. Even $5 could be the difference between me getting this final step into getting back on track. And if you can't give, please at least share the link with those who may be able to.

Thank you again for everything you've all done. You've all been incredible and blown me away with your kind hearts.

Update:
I'm asking one more time for your help, if possible.

When I first posted this back in January, I was blown away by the support. You guys were incredible with your amazing and generous donations. You all have made me feel so loved and your generosity went a long way.

Since then, I've been continuing to look for work and address my remaining health issues. Some of it has taken longer than hoped for or expected, but I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm finally starting to hear back from potential employers, and my surgeries will be scheduled soon.

My parents generously loaned me enough money to pay my bills over the last several months and some of you wondrously kind souls have sent funds for food, but things have stretched on a little longer than we all imagined. So I'm reaching out one last time to ask for help from loved ones - any dollar amount helps, no matter how small. And again, I know how tough finances are for everyone right now, so no worries if you can't help out. But please feel free to pass this along.

Thank you again for everything. I cannot describe how much your support has meant to me and will never be forgotten.

Hello to my friends, family, or any kind souls taking the time to read this.

My name is Brandon and as many of you know, I've never been good at asking for help. I've always tried to be the one to give out help in any way I can. In the past, I've had the privilege of helping many of you out with direct or indirect financial support in small or big ways. Today, however, I find myself in the unfortunate position of being the one needing assistance.

For years I was silently dealing with some health issues. About six months ago a small handful of you found out when I was expecting to no longer be around. I almost wasn't. But thanks to several surprises, I've almost made a full recovery.

My health will soon be back to normal, but during that time I burnt through all of my savings and my credit limits. What little I had left was used to move to Washington where I could be back in the place I feel most at home, a place closer to family, and the best place I could find work and start recovering financially.

The last six months have been intense and far from easy, but I'm almost ready to hit the ground running again. Unfortunately, I'm out of funds and my credit is maxed out. And I still need a few minor surgeries that have been on hold and need to be addressed for me to rejoin the workforce (such as carpal tunnel surgery). I know that finances are tough for everyone right now, but anything that you're willing to help with while I look for work and deal with these final medical issues would help me out greatly.

Every dollar counts and could end up being the difference in being able to cover my bills for the next month. Thank you all for your time, generosity, and for being the amazing people you are.

Thank you,

Brandon

Feel free to share with your friends and family, but please be aware that for the time being I wish to maintain some privacy around the personal details of what I went through. I know many of you were unaware of what I was going through and will have questions; I humbly request patience and in time I'll be happy to address them with you on an individual basis.
