Haylee is a loving mother to six beautiful children, devoted wife, an extraordinary friend, and a long-standing member of the community who has served thousands of customers at the Cozy Corner with a warm, engaging smile.
What's going on with Haylee?
After having baby Grey, Haylee went in for what she thought would be a routine removal of fibroids only to be told that she has stage 3 cervical cancer instead and will need aggressive chemotherapy and radiation as treatment.
What does this mean?
As a waitress, if Haylee doesn't work, Haylee doesn't get a paycheck. Like any wife facing this kind of uphill battle, Haylee would like more time with James and her family, but James is now being forced to work two jobs to keep the household obligations afloat. On top of that, they are facing a mountain of medical bills as she proceeds with this 10 month course of chemotherapy and radiation.
