Bennington, an extremely loving puppy, needs all the help he can get. He has been rescued from a back yard breeder in NY. He was brought to our attention by someone who knew he and his sister (with very limited vision) were in a bad situation. One person caring saved two special puppies from forced confinement and an unknown future. Being born completely blind hasn't stopped Benny from pouring out love to everyone he meets. He is six months old and with A Second Chance for Ziva Rescue. While waiting for Benny to finish growing so that he can have both eyes removed for his comfort, he started limping. Last Friday, Bennington had surgery to repair a laterally luxating patella. He will be having his eye surgery after his leg heals. To top that off, further exams have found that he has the same condition in his right hind leg as well, but we're hoping it will hold out long enough that his painful eyes can be addressed first. Even with all that Bennington is enduring. We see great things happening for Benny in his future, but he needs some help to bring them to fruition. Please join us in supporting a worthy cause. Your contribution will make an impact, big or small, every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I've included information about A Second Chance for Ziva below.
A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs. ASCZ is committed to knowing our dogs but also to knowing our adopters. Every dog deserves a second chance and we are passionate about making their second chance a success.
