Funeral Expenses for Matthew

Hello friends, our family is opening this fund in hopes of raising money to help cover the funeral expenses for my older brother, Matthew Rozario, whose remains were found this last Saturday, March 5th, 2022. Matthew had been missing since December 24th, 2016.

We are heartbroken beyond words. My family wants to give Matthew a proper goodbye, and any and all support would be incredibly helpful and appreciated at this difficult time.

Yesterday the coroner informed us that it may take up to three to four months to release his remains because they need to bring in an anthropologist to complete the investigation. This news is deeply upsetting as it further extends our grieving process, which has already been delayed for several years. The only comfort is that we now have more time to raise funds and make arrangements, which we are thankful for, as much as we’d like to lay him to rest now.

Despite his struggles, Matthew was a friend to all and so loved by everyone. He was the most charming, intelligent, stubborn, charismatic, funny, sweet, clever, kind, adventurous, and genuine there ever was. If you knew him, please celebrate him. We miss him so, so much. We are grateful for your support and prayers while we face this loss.
