Hey everyone,

This is an an URGENT message about our friends, Freddie and Rex. They need our help!

Frex has been a cultural phenomenon for eight years and going, but Rex is in trouble and we need to help her quickly.

Last week, Freddie discovered a black lump inside Rex's mouth and the vet determined that she needs a Maxillectomy to remove a rapidly growing oral tumor along with an entire section of her jaw. The tumor must be removed on July 8th before it grows larger, preventing her ability to breathe.

The surgery alone will exceed 12K. If we meet our fundraising goal and proceed with the surgery, there is a very high probability for success and many more years of Rex.

A message from Freddie:

This silly little runt has been at my side every day, everywhere, making my life meaningful and beautiful along the way...the life of many parties, a remedy for crying toddlers, and a source of joy to strangers on the street.

My friend Bobby once convinced a group of children that she was a new breed of monkey/dog hybrid that could fly, while they all stood watching and waiting for her next quirky move. She turns frowns upside down and I love her with all of my heart.

The plague year that we all just lived through has left many of us in dire straits (including myself and Rex) so if you can't send money, send your love and happy thoughts to help save this little alien-monkey-bat-puppy. It all helps and we will be forever grateful.
