Hannah's Helpers

Our Hannah is hurt. While out for a run last Friday (6/25), she was hit by a car. In addition to multiple fractures, scrapes, and bruises, she sustained a serious form of brain trauma called Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI). Currently, she is in a coma and on a ventilator in the ICU. Doctors tell us that full recovery is possible, but improvements will probably be noticed in increments of weeks, not days. It will be a long and difficult journey for Hannah, her husband, Stew, and their two children, Sterling (3) and Lawton (1). Scared but hopeful, we keep repeating the mantra, "she's young, healthy, and strong," over and over in our minds.

We've set this page up for those of you that would like to support Hannah's recovery by helping to ease the hassles of daily life while Hannah fights her battle in the hospital.
