Bring Holly Home: Supporting the Ellsworth-Clarks

Donation protected
This fundraiser has been set-up by friends to assist the Ellsworth-Clark family as they search for Holly Ellsworth-Clark.  Holly Ellsworth-Clark (a.k.a. Holly Clark) was last seen on  January 11, 2020, when she left her home in Hamilton Ontario suddenly without her coat or phone.  Holly Ellsworth-Clark is 27-years-old, 6’0” tall, with long dark blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt. She was not dressed for the weather. Holly comes from a closely-knit, loving family who are always supportive of one another. It is extremely out of character for Holly not to be in touch with her siblings (who reside in Toronto) or parents (who reside in Calgary, Alberta). Prior to her disappearance, Holly was in daily contact with her family, working regularly and performing at open mics with the goal of establishing her musical career.   Holly’s friends and family describe her as friendly, exuberant and a lover of community. She is a talented, brilliant young woman who excelled in a number of areas. She completed an Honours degree in political science at the University of Calgary, where she was also a top athlete. She competed for the Dinos as a wrestler at multiple CIS tournaments and won several national gold medals, as well as placing first at the 2014 Pan-Am Games.  Holly is also a talented singer and songwriter. She began her musical exploration after her father taught her a few guitar chords in her late teens. Holly is well known in the Calgary music scene and was just starting to make herself known in Hamilton since her recent move there in October of 2019.   Case Status:  The Ellsworth-Clark family has been coordinating with the Hamilton Police, Guardians of our Angels: Missing Persons Canada, friends and colleagues, and members of the Hamilton community to organize searches for Holly, spread awareness and gather tips from the public.   Family and friends are heartbroken and fear for Holly’s well-being. They are beginning to lose hope, and may need to finances to expand the search area and undertake new strategies to find their daughter.  Plans are being developed to expand the search, which may involve expenses for travel, cost of accommodations, printing posters and advertising to share Holly’s image and story. Since January 12th, many of her family and friends have each taken a leave of absence from work, and have flown to Hamilton to search for their daughter.  Holly’s family plans to continue search efforts in Hamilton until she is found and can be brought home. Any funds collected would be used to assist Holly’s family as they continue this search with the intention of donating any leftover funds to charity. Holly’s family thanks everyone for their continued love and support throughout this difficult time.
