Help Hayden Get Back On His Feet

Hayden Cutler is one of THE MOST loved people in Golden, CO. Those of us who are lucky enough to call Hayden a friend know how electric his personality is. Whether you’ve met him around town or gotten a sandwich from him at D’Deli, you know he is always the most kind, genuine and positive person in the room who can without fail, get a laugh out of anyone.
On 2/14 Hayden took a tumble down the stairs leading to his apartment. His fall resulted in an incredibly severe compound fracture to his ankle. Somehow Hayden was able to get himself up and back into his apartment, however being in and out of consciousness due to the amount of blood he lost, he was unable to call for help. Hayden was alone for almost two hours until miraculously his neighbor Josh found him. Josh acted quickly, calling the paramedics and ultimately saving Hayden’s life.
Speaking with the doctors and nurses, we were told they had never seen any fracture quite like it before in their careers. Whats more, is that we weren’t even the slightest bit surprised when they also told us Hayden was an incredible patient. Despite being in life threatening condition, he was calm, cool and collected, telling jokes and making everyone laugh and smile before he was rushed into emergency surgery.
Hayden has undergone one surgery thus far, and is in very good spirits, but he is facing a very long recovery involving additional surgeries, physical therapy and more.
Any funds raised will go towards Hayden’s medical expenses, travel expenses, his rent and other expenses that arise while he is out of work and recovering.
Any bit of support you can provide be it donations, prayers, or just good thoughts sent Hayden’s way are so very appreciated.
