I am writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your help for my mum, Tam Waenchanla, who lives in Thailand. Recently, our lives were turned upside down when she was diagnosed with heart failure. For those who know her, she has always been the life of our family. Seeing her struggle to breathe or perform simple daily tasks has been heartbreaking.

Last Christmas, my mother was hospitalized in critical condition. After one month, she was discharged and returned home; however, her health remains fragile. She continues to experience serious breathing difficulties and mobility issues due to insufficient oxygen levels. A medical oxygen concentrator would be highly beneficial to support her lungs, and a wheelchair is also needed to assist her daily movement.

I provides financial support to my family in Thailand while also covering my living expenses here. For this reason, the additional cost of purchasing medical equipment would represent a significant financial burden for me.

Her doctors and specialists have informed us that she urgently needs a pacemaker. This device is the only way to help her heart beat correctly and give her back the quality of life she deserves. Unfortunately, the costs for the specialist consultations and the surgery itself are incredibly high, reaching £10,000.

As much as we want to provide this for her immediately, the financial weight is more than we can carry alone. We are doing everything we can to bridge the gap, but we are still far from the total needed to secure her surgery date. This isn't just a medical procedure; it is a second chance for her to see us reach our milestones.
