Support Jamie Badillo in Her Battle Against Breast Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

We come to you with heavy hearts, reaching out to ask for your support for our amazing friend, Jamie Badillo, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. As you may know, Jamie is one of the sweetest, most caring individuals you will ever meet. She is always there for others, offering a helping hand, a listening ear, and unwavering love. She is a middle school teacher and cares for kids in her classroom every day, kids she is going to miss teaching while she is away from work to fight this fight. Above all she the best Wife, Mother and “May May” to her husband Pablo and 3 kids. She has a daughter that is 17 and without hesitation her and her husband stepped in to raise her niece and nephew who are 17 and 14. They took on this responsibility without hesitation and moved them into their home almost 7 years ago. She does so many things for others daily and now she needs our support more than ever!

In the midst of her battle, Jamie is facing not only the emotional and physical toll of cancer treatment but also the financial burden that comes with it. Between doctor’s appointments, surgeries, chemotherapy, and ongoing medical expenses, as well as the day-to-day expenses associated with raising 3 teenagers and maintaining a household, it is a time of great stress for her and her family. As we all know, cancer treatment is not only challenging physically, but it can also place an immense strain on a person’s financial stability. She is out of medical leave with her job and will need all of the outside help we can give her during this time. There are some amazing co-workers that can donate days to help her, but they can’t do it all.

I have known Jamie for almost 12 years, and we are like 2 peas in a pod. She is my go-to friend when I need laughter or cheering up, she is my vacation buddy, she is my taller half and she is my BESTIE! We have been through all the things that best friends go through together and this unfortunately is just another one of those things we will have to push through together. I hope this will ease some of their stress and let them focus on her fight and healing process. Please donate what you can and share this with your family and friends.
